Angelina Rooms in Rome

Angelina and Filippo were so kind, and we loved staying at Angelina Rooms. We spent four days in Rome and couldn't have picked a better place. The room was excellent, breakfast too, and everything felt like ten stars rather than five. Transport is very close, so you can reach the center of Rome quickly, and there are good restaurants and shops nearby.

Filippo even helped us print our tickets, and when we arrived the host had left us a bottle of Prosecco, such a sweet surprise. We spent all four nights of our five-day Rome visit at this hotel. Everything was really good, including our room and the Italian breakfasts. I'd definitely recommend these apartments for a visit.

I spent 30 nights in the yellow room at B&B Angelina Rooms in October and November 2018. The facilities were adequate, and I chose the location because it was away from the main tourist routes. The hills and steps on the way to the Metro could be tough if you're not very fit. What bothered me most was the lack of contact at the end. The proprietors live on site, but during my last three days I heard nothing from them, not even a goodbye. When I texted Filippo about it later at the airport and said how shocking and painful it had felt, his reply was pretty ho-hum. I won't stay here again for that reason. Also, assuming the neighbors downstairs are still there, bring earplugs: they had regular screaming bouts in the middle of the night.

It's one of the more affordable AirBnB stays, and the place was clean with nice hosts, though their English is limited. You're a bit away from the main attractions, so ATAC bus 75 is useful.
