B&B Goivy

It's handy for Termini Station, and the location is very central. But it felt more like a few rented rooms in a residential building than what I'd call a hotel. The room wasn't particularly clean and was short on basic amenities. For two people, there was no shampoo or proper soap, just a tiny hand soap and a couple of single-use sachets with a laughably small amount of shampoo. There were no cups or kettle either. I asked for toilet paper and it took two hours to arrive. The shower didn't work properly: the pressure kept shifting from weak to strong, and the shower head wouldn't stay mounted, so I had to hold it. It's okay if all you need is somewhere to sleep, but the conditions could definitely be better.

This place isn't fit to stay in. The rooms were dark, dirty, and run-down. When we complained and asked for a refund, a staff member was arrogant and refused. They also told Booking.com a pack of lies. There are much nicer places to stay for better value than this shabby hostel.

The location is fantastic, only a short walk from Termini station in Rome. The rooms could have been a bit better, but the staff were so kind and welcoming that it more than made up for it. I'd highly recommend B&B Giovy.

The garden was a peaceful break from the busy city, and each morning I sat on my room's small balcony with coffee, watching the sunrise. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the attention to detail and hospitality left a lasting impression. The hotel's location drew me in, but what really stayed with me was the warm atmosphere. The father and son who run it welcomed guests as if we were part of their family. That made my stay feel calming and satisfying, beyond just a vacation. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Rome. My time there enriched my travels and refreshed my spirit, and I can't wait to visit again.
