The area is quiet, and for central Rome's high prices, getting a clean room and shower felt like good value. The room was modern and spacious. The main drawback was that getting to the center took at least 30 minutes. Still, a good place to stay.

The rooms had terrible insulation, so we could hear everything between them. We were two couples in adjoining rooms, and then discovered that the floor door and both room doors all opened with the same key. Until we found that out, we'd been leaving our belongings, including money and jewelry, inside while exploring the city. Even when we were sleeping in our rooms, the door outside was left unlocked because there was no way to leave a key in the lock from inside. It was a serious safety concern. The air conditioner might as well not have been there. It didn't cool at all, and in August we were unbearably hot even while trying to sleep. Check-in was at a restaurant directly opposite the property, where nobody spoke English, despite the property information saying English and Italian were available. They were also very rude and didn't welcome us. There was supposedly a reception on the floor, but no one was ever there to help or even keep an eye on the place. It was a very bad experience.

The place was clean and spacious, and the room was cleaned every day. It isn't ideally located for the city center, though the area is quiet. The trickiest part was finding reception, which was in the restaurant across the street. It would help if all the hosts knew a little more English, and if there were an iron at reception.

It was comfortable and convenient for my business trip, though not the best choice if you're visiting Rome as a tourist. There's no breakfast on site. Instead, you get a ticket for a drink and pastry at a local cafe. The cappuccino is lovely and the pastries are great, so I have no complaints about those. Just something to know.
