The area worked well for culture, shopping, and food. The owner was very friendly, and both the room and the property were very clean.

The breakfast photos gave the wrong impression. It was served at a nearby café, was poor, and wasn't available on two of the four days we stayed. The café owner also seemed reluctant to serve us. Inside, the bathroom was part of the bedroom, divided off by a wall and door, with no ventilation; its window looked into the bedroom. The bus service was frequent, but getting around meant rushing to catch the last one. One side of the neighborhood also felt potentially dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it.

Breakfast is served at the bar, and the owner was kind and helpful. The room itself is simple, just beds and a bathroom, but it does the job. It isn't a five-star hotel, and it's a little outside the center, though Rome is easy to get around from there.

My relatives visiting from America were pleased with the service, and some friends also liked the attention they received. The location near Trastevere Station has very good transport links, with San Paolo metro station on Line B only a few minutes away. From San Paolo you can also catch the train to Ostia and reach the beach in under 30 minutes using the same ticket as for the metro. Very convenient, and recommended.
