The city center location was convenient for sightseeing, but the rest of our two-day stay was very disappointing. We had booked a double room with extra space and were given a much smaller economy double instead. Comparing it with the online photos made the difference obvious. When we brought it up, the manager asked for an extra €60 to give us the room we’d already booked. That felt unprofessional and upsetting. The bathroom flooded in the morning because of a leak, and the hot water was unreliable. The online photos show breakfast and dining tables, which gave us the impression meals were available, but there was no proper breakfast or dining setup like the pictures suggested. Between the room allocation, maintenance problems, and management, I can’t recommend this hotel.

Stay away, this felt like a scam. We emailed the exact arrival time a few days ahead, but no one was there to let us in. After they finally sent us the building access code, they charged an extra 60 euros, 20 per hour for “late check-in,” a fee they had never mentioned beforehand. The next day we complained about the awful service. I hope this helps someone else avoid the place. The room was also considerably smaller than the photos, and the bathroom seriously needs repairs.

The location was the only thing I liked. The service was awful: the staff hadn’t given me any entry codes or keys. At 6pm, with my wife and kids in the rain, we had to wait outside while the guy asked us for information over the phone before letting us in. The place looked nothing like the pictures, and although I stayed six nights, I never even realized breakfast was available. Mario showed zero professionalism and looked high. We traveled all over Italy, spending days in Firenze, Milan, Verona, and other places, and this stay made me feel scammed. I’ve visited many countries, but here I felt disrespected and treated unprofessionally. There was no privacy either. I felt unsafe with my family because anyone could open the patio door to our room. Please do better.

Mario suggested somewhere for dinner on our first night, and it was the best food we had on the whole trip. We stayed four nights, everything was clean and comfortable, and we had a wonderful time. I’d recommend this quiet hotel to anyone looking for a nice stay.
