For €49 a night, it’s reasonable: you get a double bed and an okay-sized room, but may have to share a bathroom with two other rooms. The place is a 15min walk from the Colosseum. The host lives in his own apartment and rents out three rooms by the night. Cleanliness was the disappointing part, with bugs in the bathroom and a fairly old mattress.

Very cute and elegant, and excellent too. I recommend it.
