I felt really cared for during my stay. Claire and her mother were amazing, they both have a real gift for hospitality. They were enthusiastic about their city, asked what I'd been up to, and suggested places to eat and things to see. I stayed here while using Rome as a base, taking day trips by train to Florence and Pompeii. The accommodation was very clean, and the tram stop was a five-minute walk away. It took only 15 minutes to reach the city centre, and the train station was one tram stop away. I walked 44 miles over six days, so bring good walking shoes. There's too much to see in one visit. For major sights, book online more than a day ahead to avoid the long queues, including the Sistine Chapel, Colessum and roman ruins, and David in Florence. At the Sistine Chapel, they move people out at 5.30pm, so leave enough time to appreciate the ceiling. If you haven't booked ahead, I'd recommend a tour guide to skip the queues and get an informative, interesting visit. I was so blessed and will definitely come again. The host was attentive to little things. I once left my clothes to dry on the balcony, and later found the host had moved them somewhere better. I really appreciated that. The B&B was very clean and careful about covid-19, both of which meant a lot to me. Breakfast was well-rounded, with juice, milk, cookies, coffee and more. It's good value, and the area suited me, with a bus station, supermarket, restaurants and a bank nearby. The transit network wasn't so convenient, though, and sometimes I had to wait 20 minutes for a bus. The language was a drawback, but not an essential point.

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a lovely, beautiful place, with clean rooms, friendly service, and good breakfast. It's not too far from the city centre and the main sights.
