The only real issues I noticed were the poor sound insulation, which let noise from neighboring rooms make it hard to sleep, and mold on the shower walls that needs attention so guests aren’t breathing it in. Despite that, I came away with a positive impression and would definitely recommend the place. Fix those problems and it would be perfect. It’s a good value option, with a low rate and a good standard of accommodation. My room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony for sitting out in the evening, enjoying the fresh air and taking in Rome. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was a lifesaver in the Roman heat. The guesthouse was quiet and comfortable, and felt like home. The neighborhood is wonderful, calm and non-touristy, with a pleasant, cozy, safe feel and plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and gelaterias nearby. The infrastructure is well developed. Special thanks to Giovanni, who was kind, attentive and caring, responded quickly to requests and did his best to make the stay perfect.
