The outside of the building might put you off, but Roma Naif is a little gem for the price. They have four rooms on the third floor and a small reception area. The owners met us, shared lots of local tips, and gave us a bottle of wine. Breakfast is continental, served at a bar across the road. The en suite rooms were very clean, shower gel and shampoo were provided, and the beds and towels were changed daily. What more can I say!

The neighborhood may not be Rome’s best, but the affordable prices make up for it. This small B&B is close to the Coliseum and Termini, with great restaurants nearby and the best ice cream in Rome right across the street. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, and our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. I strongly recommend it, especially if you’re on a budget.

We could walk to the Coleseo and Termini station, and there’s also public transport nearby, including metro, bus, and tram. The room was perfect and the staff were very helpful. There was water in the fridge for guests, plus tea and coffee whenever we wanted. They even welcomed us with a bottle of red wine. We recommend this hostal and will definitely return.
