I booked the property nine months ahead, but they cancelled a few days before my trip. I tried calling, texting, using WhatsApp, and emailing, but they didn't answer any of my calls or messages. They were unprofessional with both me and Booking.com customer service. I tried to speak to the host, but they hung up as soon as I introduced myself. I regret not checking the Google reviews beforehand. On Booking.com, only people who have stayed overnight can leave a review. This was my worst travel experience, and I don't recommend it to anyone!

Our Rome trip was planned well in advance, but the apartment cancelled our Booking.com reservation, made months ago, with just a day before we were due to arrive. We had no time to find a similar place, and the trip we’d organized was thrown into disarray. From the other reviews, this seems to happen often, with cancellations only hours before arrival and calls or messages going unanswered. I can't see what they gain from doing this. Be careful, and don't book here.
