My room was spotless and lovely, with a roomy, clean bathroom and a bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast on the roof the next morning came with a view over Vatican City, and I had the best cappuccino I’ve ever tasted anywhere. I was only passing through Rome on my way to Spain in May 2005, and every hotel I tried was full, apparently because the Pope was in town. One of the hotel managers pointed me to Il Tesoro, and I’m very glad they did. I hope to return.

The location was ideal for our honeymoon, right in the centre, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Giordano and his daughter looked after us so well that we’d certainly stay here again when we come back to Rome. My wife Sheny and I visited in June 2024 and really enjoyed this B&B.

Giordano was a wonderful host, and we were able to leave our luggage after checkout so we could go on a tour. The room was pretty, clean, and spacious, with AC, and breakfast was included. They even printed things for free. Il Tesoro is in a great spot, with the metro right outside. I’d definitely come back and recommend it.

The host made us feel very welcome, and the rooms, food, and cleanliness throughout were excellent. It’s right by the metro and well placed for Vatican City, with easy connections to other sights. I’d happily recommend it.

We had a cosy, roomy place with kind, friendly staff and a classic breakfast. The bathroom is shared between two rooms. A nice stay, and I’m glad we got to experience it.
