No complaints from me. The host was kind, the room and breakfast were good, the location was good too, and the price was very low. Thanks for the stay :)

The room was really comfortable, and the price was good value. Breakfast was very Italian, with a coffee machine and kettle always available. We really enjoyed our stay at Bed and Puppets. Diana was a great host, always willing to help, whether with breakfast items or bus information. We did hear noise from another room. That wasn't Diana's fault, but when I mentioned it, she said she would have dealt with it immediately, no matter how late it was.

I booked and fully paid for nine nights for myself and my 63-year-old mother through Booking.com, hoping for a memorable Rome trip. On August 31, the day travel was meant to begin, I missed my flight and the airline lost my luggage. I immediately told the property I was on standby for the next flights from Brazil. They said it was fine as long as I kept them updated. On September 1, the first day of the reservation, while I was still trying to get on a flight, Diana suddenly canceled all nine nights without a refund. She said they couldn't wait because there was no 24-hour front desk, even though I had clearly explained what was happening. The Booking.com support agent also said this wasn't a no-show, since I had kept the property informed, and thought canceling a prepaid booking was unreasonable. But the property had the final say, so support could only ask Diana to make an exception. She refused without considering it. They canceled my stay without refunding me, then immediately put the room back on the platform. It seemed likely they were trying to resell it and profit from double-booking. Their actions felt unethical: they kept the money for a stay they had no intention of providing. Booking this place was the worst decision I've made while traveling abroad.
