The location worked well for reaching the Vatican and other attractions, and they serviced the room each day. There was no breakfast on any of our six days, so having to find it elsewhere every morning got expensive. We paid the accommodation charge by card and the tourist tax in cash.

I booked Borghetto Cavalleggeri in July, 2017, then got a cancellation notice one week before leaving in May, 2018 because they had overbooked. That put unexpected, unfair stress on my family and me. I suspect they found someone willing to pay more as the date approached and didn't care about cancelling on a customer so close to arrival. Trying to find a place in Rome during peak travel season with only a week to go was not appreciated. Borghetto Cavalleggeri CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return on our next trip. The room was lovely, and the lady was kind. Everything is close by, including pizzerias, restaurants, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Bambino Gesù Hospital.
