The location made it easy to visit some of Rome’s best-known sights, with the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Baths of Caracalla, and Domus Aurea just steps away. The room was comfortable and remarkably quiet, perfect for resting after long days out. Housekeeping kept it spotless each day. From arrival to departure, my stay at Il Monastero Collection couldn’t have been better. The staff were incredible, especially Francesco, Ludovica, Jay, and Tatiana, who went above and beyond to make it memorable. I’ll definitely be back soon.

We met several members of staff, and they were warm, helpful, and happy to share advice, jokes, stories, and laughs even though we’d only just met. Andreas was especially supportive. He made our first day of arrival a really nice memory. The hotel is a neat, cozy little place in central Rome.

Check-in was easy at any hour, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were warm and friendly, like family. The view across Circo Massimo from our Junior Suite was stunning, and a second window looked out onto the peaceful courtyard. That inner courtyard is a calm little oasis, with a timeless Roman feel that makes you feel surrounded by history. The suite was beautifully furnished and spotless, with a luxurious Jacuzzi tub and a spacious walk-in shower. The location opposite Circo Massimo is breathtaking, and you can almost imagine the ancient chariots going by. For the quality, the price felt unbeatable. A magical stay that brought together luxury, history, and lovely hospitality. I can’t recommend it enough.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and my room was cleaned perfectly every day. I had a very pleasant stay at II Monastero, just a short walk from the Colosseum. I’d recommend it, and I’ll be back.

The Colosseum is close by, and most of the places we wanted to see were about a 20-minute walk away. We stayed for three nights and had a great time. The person at the desk was so lovely and always ready to help. Thanks for making our stay so nice.
