Nalin made our stay extra special, whether making breakfast, looking after our room, or stopping for a good chat and a friendly vibe. The breakfast itself was delicious and thoughtfully put together. Our room was spacious, comfortable and tastefully designed, and the grounds offered a peaceful break from busy Trastevere. The location is perfect, right in one of Rome's best areas. Check-in and communication were as good as they get. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome. And Noa, their dog, is an angel!

We really liked the garden, especially in the morning when the sun came out and we could have breakfast there. It's a lovely little oasis. The rooms we saw opening onto the courtyard had the same dim lighting and layout, and felt dark and a bit claustrophobic. The only window or door was the entrance. I didn't see the upstairs rooms, so can't comment on those. About the dog: our one-year-old daughter was bitten while she and I were petting it. We told a staff member at the time, but unfortunately they didn't address it. I felt families considering this otherwise charming property should know. The dog also didn't seem to like children, so be careful. In response to the owner, we stayed in March 2022, probably booked under my husband's name, which may explain why you couldn't find the reservation.

The garden was such a lovely spot to sit and unwind, and our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The house itself has charming decor with Luisa’s creations. Luisa, Ascanio and the rest of the staff made our six-night stay especially memorable. It's well placed in Trastevere, close to many of the main attractions. The courtyard is stunning, and we could happily have spent the whole day sitting there. From the moment you enter through the gate, you feel surrounded by Trastevere's artist culture. The three-room hotel is an experience in itself, with quiet, spacious, clean rooms. At this price, you're paying for that unique atmosphere, and won't get all the luxuries of a major chain, which might cost the same. If a quiet, distinctive stay appeals to you, this is a good choice. For a huge breakfast buffet, on-site parking and a lobby bar, a premium chain would be a better fit. I'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere unique.
