I felt safe here, and our room facing the staircase was very quiet. The location helped, too: Vatican City is a five minute walk away, and the nearest metro and bus stop is just a minute away. The apartment is split into four rooms with a shared kitchenette that has everything you need. We were in room no 1, a fairly big triple room with an extra bed. It was well heated, with both AC and a radiator. The bathroom was small, so you had to be careful getting in and out of the shower. Whenever we turned on the bathroom water, there was a strange noise from the sewer system. The bedsheet had some stains, though it smelled clean, and the room wasn’t soundproofed. The city tax is 7 eur/night/person, so keep that in mind. I saw people say there was no one at reception, but there isn’t a reception. You need to call the owner before you arrive. I found his number on google maps.

We stayed two days without any issues. Everything listed on our booking site was there, and the manager was extremely helpful with all our requests. The breakfast they gave us was so good, too. It was a pleasant stay.

We waited outside the door for three hours, ringing the bell, but nobody answered. I don’t know if this hotel is a scam or has simply closed for good. We called agoda, then waited another couple of hours. They eventually gave us a full refund, saying the hotel hadn’t replied to their emails or calls. If you’re looking for a hotel near Vatican city, please find another place. Stay away from this PLACE!

There are plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby, and the accommodation is good quality. It’s in a very central spot, right next to Ottaviano metro. The aircon was good, too!

Avoid this place, it’s a scam!!!! My family and I waited there for 4 hours, but nobody responded. We ended up calling the Agoda agency to find somewhere else to stay. They had to give us a full refund for wasting our time and scamming us!!!!!!! They’re closed.
