The booking response when I asked about the stairs and requested a cancellation was neither helpful nor accommodating. There seemed to be little understanding of how the missing information affected whether we could stay there. I wouldn't recommend this property, especially for anyone with mobility needs or elderly companions. Listings need to be clear and accurate, and this one wasn't. I booked through Agoda while traveling with my elderly parents, and I always check accessibility details carefully. Nothing in that listing said we would have to climb three flights of stairs just to reach the front door. I checked Booking.com and Airbnb too, and couldn't find stairs mentioned there either. That's a major omission for travelers who need accessible accommodation. Had it been stated clearly, I would never have booked. The lack of transparency felt very misleading.

Getting our check-in details late was frustrating, and with no reception or staff at the property, there was nobody on site to help. Everything went through WhatsApp, which made arrival confusing and stressful after a tiring trip. Campo de’ Fiori 34 is in a very old building, the furniture felt extremely dated, and there was no elevator. Carrying my luggage up to the third floor was a real inconvenience. The whole experience was unpleasant and badly managed, and I wouldn't recommend it for a comfortable, properly run stay in Rome.

We had a really great time. The staff were so friendly, and the location was perfect, with all the main sights within a 20-minute walk. Thanks for a great stay, I'd definitely recommend it.

The apartment was great and in a handy spot, on a street where Uber can pick you up. There was loads within walking distance, including great food, of course. I stayed for a week in one of their apartments on the fifth floor. No elevator, but that wasn't a problem for me. Just beware if your wife packs extra luggage for shoe shopping, somehow those shoes get heavier than they should be, probably the hooker boots, I don't know.
