Anna and Fabrizio made us feel at home, and I can't recommend this place enough. We're three women in our twenties, and felt safe throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, with a gorgeous, movie-like view of the Colosseum from the street, and I never felt unsafe. The free breakfast was lovely too. Anna made cappuccinos each morning, and the orange juice was amazing. The room was spotless, and everything we needed was provided. When we asked how to use the Wi-Fi, Fabrizio replied quickly and was very pleasant. At arrival, he welcomed us and explained how to check in. Our keys were waiting in an envelope at the front desk. We did have a stressful problem on our first night. Another guest bolted the front door, so we couldn't get back in well past midnight. Fabrizio answered the phone, handled it calmly, and reached someone inside who let us back into the hotel. I'm sure this isn't a common thing. He dealt with it professionally, and we had no other issues during our stay. I also want to thank Anna for her wonderful service. The next morning she brought us our complimentary breakfast and apologized, assuring us the door wouldn't be padlocked again. She said the guest had been told not to do it. When we mentioned that we had an early bus to florence the following morning, she offered to bring breakfast as soon as we woke up so we wouldn't miss it. She also gave us great recommendations and pointed out safe areas to walk around at night. She was wonderful. We've travelled a lot around Europe over the past few months, and this was hands down our best stay. I'd absolutely come back to Rome and stay here again. It would suit young travellers, couples or families.
