After a stressful train journey with several delays and changes, my wife and I arrived in the late morning and met iuliana Giulia, the B&B's owner. We only meant to leave our bags and find breakfast while the room was being prepared, but iuliana had a room ready right away and made us far more breakfast than we could finish. That's how breakfast was every day. We stayed several nights in mid-September and were extremely happy. The rooms were clean, cozy, nice, and secure, and the rates were very reasonable. The location is in a nice area close to public transport. We both thought iuliana was wonderful and recommend B&B Casa Di Silvia without reservation.

Giulia, the owner, was incredibly kind and quickly shared useful advice for steering clear of the usual tourist traps. We picked the B&B after reading reviews on a local review site, and would definitely stay again if we return to Rome. It's only a few meters from the metro, though the area has such good public transport that we mostly didn't need the metro. Our room was warm, breakfast plentiful, and both the bathrooms and the general cleanliness were excellent.
