The location was the only upside. We paid for a 20 m² room and were put in one barely 9 m², with the bathroom built into the room. There was no air conditioning or table, just a folding bed and a service cabinet taking up the middle. The staff didn't speak English. This felt like a rip-off. I'd skip it.

We had to find somewhere else to stay in Rome after cockroaches kept appearing, but we were still charged the full amount plus city tax. Two were crawling on the headboard when we arrived. The room was supposedly cleaned and fumigated while we went out, but there were more when we returned, including one in my towel. It seemed like an isolated problem at first, but it wasn't. We filed a claim with Booking.com. Three days later, they said they couldn't help with a refund because the property hadn't replied, and there was no deadline for it to do so. So if the property stays silent, Booking.com won't help us. Don't waste your money: you won't want to stay there, and you may not get a refund.

Right by Termini, with very effective communication. The place was clean and simple, and Lavazza coffee and water were available around the clock. We booked a shared bathroom but got a clean private one with a hot shower and strong water pressure. Breakfast was left the night before: three croissants, two orange juices, and two bananas. A few little things could use fixing.

The people here were friendly and clearly wanted us to feel comfortable. Breakfast was included, plentiful, and left in our room the night before. Our room was large and quiet at night even though it faced the main avenue, with a very comfortable extra-large bed made up daily. It also had a TV, air conditioning, a fan, and a private bathroom. The shower was medium-sized with good pressure. We switched here on our first day in Rome because our previous hostel had no AC. With the humidity and heat, we needed it. I called early that morning, and Zakir answered and showed us a room within half an hour. The price felt very good for the service and the place. It's right next to the train station, though be careful on the nearby streets late at night. I'd highly recommend staying here.
