Casa Monti

Breakfast was good, and Jennifer and her team were the real highlight. They were the only ones who made me feel well looked after, and I think they could teach their hotel colleagues about customer service. Some other staff were lovely, but many let the place down. I’d paid extra because I wanted a special, relaxing stay at what I thought would be a memorable five-star luxury hotel. The room didn’t feel five-star, the shower was average, and the cold tap wasn’t working properly. I missed the lovely shower I have at home. The spa was awful, definitely below average, and the roof terrace was just okay, nothing special. On arrival at the rooftop, I was met with a rude, unwelcoming attitude and told I could only stay for an hour. I didn’t like seeing people asked to leave after an hour when they were enjoying themselves. It should be better organised. The stay didn’t live up to my expectations, and it wasn’t the special experience I’d paid extra for.

From the moment you step into the beautiful lobby, it feels like the right choice. In wonderful Monti, the hotel sits on a lovely cobbled street, and the individual room designs are stunning. It feels like your own Roman home. The service from every staff member was exceptional. The food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner makes it hard to eat elsewhere. There’s a rooftop bar with fabulous cocktails and views, plus a great view from the spa. Don’t hesitate to book this fabulous boutique hotel.

The staff made our trip, with their warmth and great restaurant recommendations. They clearly love what they do. At Casa Monti Roma, the little details felt personal and carefully considered, from the slippers to the touches around the room. The hotel is beautiful and genuinely one of the most design-led places we’ve stayed, in a perfect location. We had a really lovely stay and would absolutely come back. It feels special in Rome without being stuffy, and we loved every bit of it.

The interior feels like an art gallery, with every corner beautiful and thoughtfully put together. I loved the suite and the energy of Casa Monti, and the attention to detail was hard to describe. The whole team were kind, cooperative, and professional, and I enjoyed every moment. Martina at reception deserves a special thank you. She took care of everything we needed and managed all our reservations with warmth and efficiency, making the trip even better. Andrea in the breakfast area was genuinely kind, pleasant, and welcoming too. This stay left a lovely impression on me, and I’ll definitely be back soon.
