Very nice and clean, with good service. I’d stay again.

I stayed there recently with two friends, and we were really disappointed with the staff. When we arrived, they left us waiting outside in the cold for about half an hour. We called, and they said they’d be there in two minutes, but they weren’t. We were left out there because staff never showed up. In my view, that’s not how a respectable B&B should treat guests. We were also left in a cold room for a whole day. They said the hot air would come on in the afternoon. When we complained, they said it was meant to be turned on at 5 pm because it depended on the building, and that everyone was cold until then. That explanation was ambiguous and didn’t convince us. The water bottle we used to heat water had a lot of limescale inside. The furniture looked like it had been abandoned since our grandmothers’ time, with little animals having dug holes in it. They even give you a receipt, which I think should be punishable by law. We definitely won’t be back to this dump.

We were sent to another B&B, BnB Messina, for the first night. The staff there were extremely rude, and the toilet kept flushing loudly all night. They said there was a problem with the building, but it later turned out to be a clear overbooking. The next day, the room’s thermal cutout broke, so they left us without electricity or light. Their answer was, “It’s no problem for us if you leave the bathroom light on all night.” After apologizing over and over, they texted that they’d make it up to us. We asked whether we were entitled to a refund, but they never replied. The technician was supposedly due at 9:00, though nobody had told us that. Best of luck to future guests.

They were very kind and friendly, but the stay wasn’t good. Cleaning was poor, hot water for the shower wasn’t available, and the air conditioning was very noisy. They need to improve several things.
