Cedro House in Trastevere

Beautiful apartment.

The location was the only good thing. We stayed four nights, and although everything else seemed fine, the apartment door wouldn’t lock, there was a sewage smell, and a sign at the building entrance warned about rats and thieves and said to keep the door shut. On checkout day, the host called and insulted us, using inappropriate language and demanding we leave immediately as if we were squatters. It was only four minutes past the scheduled checkout time. She also tried to collect the tourist tax twice. We’d left it in cash at the accommodation, but she then asked us to pay again over WhatsApp.
