Chiavari Apartment

Chiavari really is a gem. Martina and Simone rent it to tourists, and the apartment has been renovated beautifully to a very high standard. They were welcoming hosts and ready to help at a moment's notice. The location puts you right among Rome's major attractions, great food and wine, and excellent coffee. We've visited Rome several times over the years, but never stayed in a better apartment than Chiavari. We heartily recommend it. Chris and Cathy, Australia.

A lovely, comfortable, clean apartment in central Rome, near the Pantheon. It's well supplied, even with the little things, and would suit a family. There are two rooms: a bedroom with a large bed and shower, plus a living room with a large bed and a small sofa that isn't suitable for sleeping. The mattresses are firm and very good. There's no elevator, and the staircase is small but steep. Coded locks and a key box make self check-in convenient, especially for a late-night arrival. The main drawback is checkout at 10:30, with no flexibility to leave even a minute later. That's extremely inconvenient and worth reconsidering. Good morning, recommendations!
