Cinque Sogni

It's a few steps from the metro and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. This was a great hostel experience. There are five rooms, each with its own bathroom, and check-in is remote with assistance available. Breakfast is self-serve in a cozy shared space, with different kinds of milk, a coffee machine, pastries, toast, and a microwave and fridge you can use. My room had a spacious, comfortable, clean bed, though the walls could use some refurbishing. My only complaints were the small bathroom, the lack of amenities, a door that rubbed, and a not-so-great smell.

The room is spacious and the bathroom is huge by Italian standards. The location is beautiful, convenient, and unbeatable. Staff were out of the way during our stay, and we hardly saw them, but the service was still great. Breakfast is self-serve in a nice family-table setting, with good quality packaged food and drinks. I'd recommend staying here if you're coming to Rome for a prime location, a great room, and an affordable price by Rome standards.

We stayed in the Aria room with our two kids, and the area felt safe to us. A local taxi driver said it was very safe too, and we were comfortable walking around. There’s a grocery store across the street, restaurants nearby, and a pharmacy about two minutes away. The breakfast is simple, espresso with croissants and pastries, and the Wi-Fi is good. It’s also not expensive, and nobody at the hotel gave us judgmental looks when we came in quietly. If my coin in the Trevi Fountain brings me back, I’d stay here again. The next morning after check-in, this was the only place that demanded we pay the city taxes. I wouldn’t recommend it.
