If you just need a cheap place to sleep and shower after a long day exploring the beautiful city of Rome, this could suit you. It was the cheapest option, so I was prepared for much worse. The room was clean, and while there was some minor gunk in the shower cracks, that was more than acceptable. The breakfast takes some getting used to. When they clean the room, they bring two packaged croissants, tea, marmalade and coffee capsules for you to prepare yourself in the kitchen. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to avoid it. My girlfriend and I both sleep deeply, so the trains in the background weren’t a problem. Thanks for the nice stay, Cleopatra!!

Check-in was complicated because we had to call someone by phone to open a door. The rooms were generally clean, and the reception staff were okay. Breakfast was fine for the price, but don’t count on much. Our room faced the train lines and parking, and people were shutting doors all night. There was a terrible smell from the bathroom in both rooms. I’d pay 10-15 euros more per night for a more comfortable option in a better city location.

The breakfast was barely a breakfast, just two croissants, two small Nutellas and two tea bags. The location was poor, and a train kept passing right by the window. The room looked much larger in the photos. Our safe didn't work, and although staff said they'd fix it the next day, nobody did. That left our belongings without proper security. The room wasn't cleaned well, with plenty of dirt on the floor. The shower door and pipe were broken, and the water came out cold and brown for the first minute. Trust me, avoid this place.

The location was okay, but the hotel and staff were terrible. The bathroom had hair and mould, the equipment was old, and there was little room for belongings. We asked the hotel to store our suitcase, and the staff broke it so badly that we couldn't continue travelling with it. The manager refused to take responsibility or even apologize, claiming the suitcase had already been like that. That's complete nonsense. I definitely don't recommend this hotel.
