We were three people and had a room with its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the host gave us helpful information about the area. We enjoyed our stay at Colosshouse Guest house, within walking distance of Termini, the Colosseo and Basilica de San Giovanni. We were there in May 2025.

Diego got in touch to confirm our arrival time and was there to welcome us. He kindly let us into the room early and left us water, towels, shampoo, a hair dryer and a map. The room was clean and fresh, with a very comfortable bed and air-conditioning, which we needed in the heat. It’s a short walk to the Colosseum too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A terrible Airbnb experience. The apartment itself was fine apart from a loose toilet seat that didn’t fit properly. The host then claimed we had damaged a lamp we never even used and charged us £220 to replace it. They also got my review removed from Airbnb. Be careful, they’re scammers.

The location was great, and the room was clean with daily cleaning. But the room was bare: there wasn’t even shampoo, or a kettle and cups. It got cold at night, so I asked them to turn on the heating. They said they would, but it never came on. We returned the room early on our last day, and since our flight was late, I asked if we could leave our bags somewhere so we wouldn’t have to carry them around. The owner offered to store them free only until 14:30, which was disappointing. He seemed very kind, but doesn’t speak English at all, so texting with translation was the only way to communicate.

The room was clean, comfortable and safe, and the location was nice, just two stops from Termini in a quiet area. The downside for me was the privacy.
