We stayed for four days. On the first day we spotted an insect in the room, which was very damp. There was no kettle or any cups.

I gave one star just so the review would be allowed, even though this place doesn't deserve half a star. When someone cancels because of a global pandemic, you may be legally entitled to keep the money under your cancellation rules, but that doesn't make it ethical. It's despicable. We won't recommend your place to anyone, quite the opposite. Enjoy the money you took. Thief.

Three of us had booked a Rome visit, arriving March 14 and leaving on the 18th. Our flight was canceled because of COVID-19, so we couldn't travel. We messaged the owner to explain, but he kept the booking money, saying we'd canceled before the pandemic. I'm furious and disappointed. Keeping money that was stolen from us is shameful. This says a lot about a person. I hope other people think twice before booking at Cowsin House. Thief!

Getting around was easy from here, with bus, tram, and metro stops less than a five-minute walk away, and the train station about ten minutes on foot. Tourist sights were 20 minutes by public transport or 12 to 15 minutes by car. The apartment was clean and well heated, in a very quiet neighborhood.
