The location was convenient for both the city center and metro, but the bed was poor and there were no bed linens.

We spent five nights in this apartment hotel on the sixth floor and had no problems. The maid stocked the fridge with fresh mineral water every day. It’s close to the metro, and Termini station is walkable. It’s not especially modern, but it worked well for a Rome trip where we were out most of the day. I’d stay again.

The one real advantage was the location: the apartment is a minute from Castro Petorio metro station, around eight minutes on foot from Rome Termini, with a supermarket around the corner. The residential area felt quiet and safe, and I’d consider staying nearby next time, just not here. We booked the apartment, which is in a separate building about a five-minute walk from the hotel. The website described two rooms for four people, but it was actually one bedroom plus a living room with a sofa bed. The morning check-in staff member was welcoming, while the person who took us to the apartment in the afternoon seemed distracted and rushed ahead without checking if we were keeping up. The introduction was cursory. I had to ask where the washing machine was, or he would have left after about two minutes. The apartment looked newly decorated in the photos and had the listed facilities, but the appliances were old. The washing machine, dishwasher, and range hood seemed second-hand. The washing machine markings were unreadable, so I couldn’t work out how to use it. The kitchen only had salt, with no basic cooking supplies, and there was no detergent. The dishwasher had no clear instructions, and its lid stuck against the wooden door. These things felt poorly thought through for guests. After the first night, the cleaning staff may have used a strong bleach or something similar, because the apartment smelled very bad when we returned.

It’s a simple, no-frills place with the basics you need. Although a little dated, the unit is clean and well maintained, and the thermostat worked well, which we were especially grateful for during winter. The location is good.

The elevator deserves five stars! The place has a great stylish look, and the location is pretty good, not too far from the center of Rome. We had an awesome time.
