Dada Suites

Andrea was easy to reach on WhatsApp and suggested some nice restaurants nearby. We could request fresh towels, and room cleaning was available. The hotel feels more like an apartment split into separate rooms, and there isn't always someone at reception, so arrange your arrival ahead of time. It's in a great spot, about 15 minutes from the Colosseum and close to everything. The room and bathroom were clean, but the room was a little smaller than the photos, and the bathroom is really tiny. There was also a sewer-like smell from it at night, and sometimes bugs came out, which was a problem since the bathroom is inside the room.

We waited outside for over an hour trying to get in and collect our room key. It's 23:20 now, and we're still stuck out here. The location is great, but the service has been absolutely lacklustre. Use a traditional hotel instead.

The neighborhood has a great feel, with plenty of food nearby and tourist spots within walking distance. The homelessness mentioned in other reviews wasn't as bad as it sounded to me, though it's a capital city and I expect to see some of that. The room itself was comfortable, and the bedding was clean with comfortable sheets. But the bathroom was a nightmare, covered in black mold, and the smell was nauseating. I'm shocked nobody has been hospitalized. I spent as little time in there as possible. There was also a lot of dust on top of the wardrobes and other surfaces above eye level, though the rest of the cleanliness was mediocre. A duster and bleach could fix these problems. We stayed because of a credit card credit, and I'll post this review on that site too. Management could make big changes to its ratings by dealing with this. I wouldn't stay again.

We spent 10 nights in the Terrace Room in June 2025, and Andrea helped make it a fantastic stay. She was accommodating, shared ideas for places to visit and good times to go, and arranged airport pickup and a ride back after our stay. The room cleaner was lovely. We never got her name, so we called her the Ciao lady because she was always saying "ciao." The room was really clean and had everything we needed, even a hairdryer that wasn't listed. I could've saved suitcase space if I'd known to leave mine at home. There's no one at the desk all the time, but you can reach Andrea on WhatsApp and arrange to meet. We could also hang a green card on the doorknob for more coffee or towels, and our requests were always taken care of. The shower is smaller than average, but it worked fine for us. We had coffee and sometimes meals on the terrace. The photos show the stairs up to the suites, which also have an elevator, and the terrace from inside the room. Most attractions are within walking distance. We also took transit to Ostia Beach and booked a Tuscany wine tour for my birthday. I'd definitely recommend Dada Suites and stay here again if we return.
