Dantes Hell BB

We felt a bit like locals in this small family B&B, set in an original Roman house. It’s a lively area full of restaurants, bars, and shops, just a few minutes’ walk from Piazza Navona and Pantheon. Our room was quiet, spacious, cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed. It was cleaned daily, with fresh linens and towels each day too. Special thanks to Flavia, the host, who was available whenever we needed and helped with her advice. We had a great time at Dante's Hell, definitely recommend it, and would be happy to return on our next vacation in amazing Rome.

The bed was so comfortable, and the room felt cozy and clean. We had a great stay in this apartment, right in the center, in a beautiful old building that’s been renovated. It felt like home.

We spent four nights here and slept well, even though the bed has clearly seen plenty of use and we can be fussy about beds. The room is small, but there are lots of thoughtful touches. It had a mini fridge, AC, a hot plate and pot, an espresso machine, and a kettle. Towels were changed and the room tidied each day. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were quick to help with requests. The location was a highlight, just a two-minute walk from the pantheon, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We also found a well-stocked coop food store two blocks away. Breakfast was served at a cafe a few blocks from the room. We had to ask how to get there, but it turned out to be a great find. We had croissants and coffee each day, and I’ll miss those croissants most about Rome. I’d recommend staying here.

The room was spacious and very clean, with pastries in the room and a coupon for coffee and a pastry at a nearby breakfast place. It’s right beside a large gelato shop, and we could easily walk to Vatican City and the Colosseum. The building is on the third or fourth floor, so there are quite a few stairs, though there is a tiny elevator. We walked from the train station and got lost, so I wish we’d taken a taxi. I also forgot to tell them when we’d arrive, and nobody was there to let us in. The owner was very kind and arranged for the housekeeper to open the door, which we really appreciated.
