The location is handy for Termini station, and reception were kind and helpful. The wooden bed didn't squeak, but noise was still a problem: the old windows let in outside sounds, there was logistics work below the entrance early in the morning, and I could hear the next room. Bring earplugs if you're staying in a dormitory. The shower room needs a ventilation fan to prevent fungi, and the radiator needs cleaning.

Horrible place. The photos are misleading, the Wi-Fi is limited, and the WC facilities are too. Staff aren't qualified and get annoyed easily, and it doesn't feel welcoming. It's cheap, but you can find better hostels for the same money, or even an Airbnb at that rate. I would never recommend it to anyone going to Rome.

The price was acceptable, and the Wi-Fi was okay. There are small kitchenette facilities, which are a big help, and buses and metro stations are easy to get to. It's a basic hostel, though: with no air conditioning in summer, guests have to make do with some fans. There's no elevator, and the many stairs to the upper floors could be hard for families with children, older companions, or heavy luggage.

The owner was helpful, and the location was good. That's the only reason for the two points. This was the worst hostel I've stayed in: the bedsheets were really dirty and smelled bad, probably because they hadn't been cleaned. I can't even comment on the toilet.

It was fine for sleeping, and the location in Rome was good, just a short walk from Termini station. There was a "kitchen," but all it had was a fridge and a stinky kettle.
