The apartment is on the small side, but that didn’t bother us since most of our time in Rome was spent outside. If you head out in the morning and come back in the evening, I think it’s one of the best options. We stayed four days and left Rome with good memories, especially of the host. We collected the keys ourselves and found the room ready, with no trouble getting in. Salvatore was cheerful and polite, and helped us get oriented around the city.

The room was clean and very quiet, and I liked the neighborhood because it felt like living among locals. The Vatican really is close, though the other attractions aren’t as near. We had trouble figuring out how to get in. The main gates were wide open and other people were going through, so we entered to look for the stairs and ring for the host. After about three minutes, a very rude groundskeeper or doorman yelled that we weren’t allowed through the gates and insisted it was private property, even though they were open and everyone was entering. He made the whole situation confusing and spoiled our mood. Be aware of the impolite doorman. I wouldn’t stay there again because of him.

The rooms were clean, the area felt safe with security, and the people were very nice and helpful. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Rome again.

The room was spacious and good, though the AC wasn’t very effective. The host supplied a laptop and printer, which was a great service, and there was free coffee too. A good place to stay.

Our host made the stay really pleasant with directions and suggestions. The location was great, and it was easy to reach transit. I’d definitely stay here again.
