The location is good, but my single room was in such poor condition that I don’t think the hotel is worth the price. It was cramped and very small, with little natural light, an uncomfortable bed, and no bedside table or a few other basic amenities. There was a strange musty smell, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature because the AC control didn’t work. The key arrangements also felt very odd and made me slightly uneasy. For what I got, the room should have cost much less. The location isn’t enough to make me stay here.

The staff were courteous and very helpful, and the room was tidy, clean and welcoming. There are a few things that need fixing, including a toilet flush that leaks a little. My ensuite room was inside a courtyard, with ventilation through a door that had a gate, and it had air conditioning. The area was lively but still quiet, and I felt fine walking around alone in the evenings. It’s an excellent location, about five minutes on foot from the Colosseum and 16 minutes from Termini Station. A good choice for a short getaway.

Our booking at Merulana 43 was switched to this property. The location works well, but the room was really hard to accept: the sheets were dirty, the air conditioner had no plastic cover around it, and the bathroom had neither a window nor ventilation. The fixtures were rusty, and there was a musty smell throughout. I can't recommend it.
