We found bedbugs in the apartment. It was the worst accommodation booking experience of my life. The photos and description didn’t match what was there. The kitchen was incomplete, outdated, and in need of renovation. The dining area shown in the listing was actually an old rectangular table and chairs that needed repair or replacement. The pictured coffee machine was an old coffee maker, not washed after the previous guests. Those things were minor compared with what happened. We were bitten by bedbugs and told the landlady. She called a pest control service, and we were forced to leave, with nowhere to stay in Rome and out on the street. The owners gave us no help or basic support. The only option the landlady offered was to stay in an apartment treated with chemicals, where there was nothing to breathe. We were scared and bought pills to help with the bites. Even now that I’m home, I still itch, take pills, and remember the whole ordeal with horror. I’m attaching pictures of what crawled on our bed where we slept, on the table where we ate, and of the aftermath I’m treating now. Renting this apartment ruined the trip and my impression of the country.

We spent four nights in this lovely apartment. It was spotless and in a great location, and worked perfectly for our family. No bedbugs.

The place looked old and worn inside, and the pictures didn’t match reality. We were bitten by bedbugs, then the owners blamed us. They came and told us to leave during breakfast. Afterwards they wrote that we’d left the dishes, which was another lie among the things we kept hearing. We’re still dealing with the bites, and they gave us no reimbursement. I don’t recommend this place. Be very careful about staying here.

We had a three-bedroom, three-bath rental with a small kitchen and only basic equipment. The Wi-Fi was great, and there’s a paid garage right next door. A mini market is also beside the building, with a larger supermarket about a seven-minute walk away. The Colosseum is roughly 20 minutes on foot. There’s no balcony or terrace, and it was very noisy. You’ll get a taste of Italian family life from next door.

All six of us were bitten by bedbugs during our October 2023 stay. I was surprised there was no information about them. When I told the owner, she acted surprised and said she’d sort it out right away. I held off on writing a review because she asked me to wait and promised it would be fixed. Judging by the comments, the problem is still there. The bites were numerous, and their effects lasted well after we got home. I strongly don’t recommend staying here. Warning!
