Elizabeth Unique Rome - a Member of Design Hotels

The location was really handy, just off the main shopping street and about five minutes from the Spanish Steps. I could get my shopping delivered to the room because the hotel was so close to the stores. I stayed two nights for my birthday and, with the AMEX FHR benefit, got early check-in, a room upgrade, and late checkout. Everyone was lovely, from the doormen to reception and housekeeping. Breakfast had an à la carte menu with different dishes to try. The room was a little small, but there was enough space for my two carry-on bags. I had a great stay and would come back to Rome.

Really impressive stay, and probably the best hotel we’ve been to in years. It feels classy without being stiff, and the reception welcome was warm. Someone showed us to the room and explained how everything worked. Even though check-in officially starts at 3 pm, our room was ready when we arrived at 1 pm. Room 204 was very comfortable, with quality fixtures, a great bed, coffee-making facilities, and a fridge stocked with complimentary water and soft drinks. There were complimentary nuts too, which was a nice change from places that charge extra for every little thing. The wardrobe had a mini safe. The bathroom was well equipped, with a double shower and strong water flow, plus a toilet and bidet. The toiletries, including shower gel and shampoo, were very nice. Breakfast was à la carte, with a good selection that was beautifully cooked, presented, and served. Service and attention were excellent. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth Unique Hotel felt peaceful and intimate, and surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. The chef’s food was creative and delicious. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, personally walking us to our room, setting it up for the evening, and surprising us with afternoon desserts. We loved staying here and would highly recommend it as a boutique stay in Rome.

We were very comfortable at Elizabeth unique hotel and would gladly recommend a stay. There were a couple of things that could have been better, though. One restaurant staff member wasn't especially friendly, maybe he was just having a few bad mornings. Our room also had a noticeable damp, slightly moldy smell, and my husband sneezed most nights, possibly because of dust. We reported it and staff quickly vacuumed and cleaned the room. That helped, but the smell and allergy symptoms didn't go away completely.
