I couldn’t get any fresh air for the four days I was there. I’d booked a room with no view and knew that, but I didn’t realize there was no window to the outside. The window faced a corridor by the lift and the neighbors, so I never opened it. They don’t clean the room either. I hadn’t asked for that service, but I would have liked a chance to air the room. The constant movement of guests and other people made it hard to rest. The door and lift were very noisy, and the bed was only two metres from them. It was a really uncomfortable stay, and I’m still waiting for a reply to my messages asking whether a slightly later checkout was possible. I felt completely disappointed and deceived by how different the place was from the photos.

The room had what we needed for our first stop in Rome: a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a clean bathroom. Sid gave us a very warm welcome, helped us get settled, and kept our luggage until check-in. That made the stay feel extra special. It was surprisingly quiet despite how busy Rome is, and the location was excellent.

This was easily the worst hotel stay of my life, and I strongly advise against staying here. The place smells strongly of cigarette smoke, the elevator was out of service, and the rooms are on the fifth floor, which made the stay very uncomfortable. It was also poorly marked and difficult to find, with no reception or anyone there to welcome us. The most alarming part was the staff member who appeared for checkout earlier than agreed. He was arrogant and rude, took photos of me without permission, including my passport, and threatened to call the “bad police” if I didn’t leave right away. That behavior is unacceptable and raised serious concerns about safety.

Very clean, great prices, and an incredible location. The bed was super comfortable and there was Aircon. After a long summer day walking around Rome, it was ideal for getting some rest. I’d stay again.
