The room was dilapidated, and the “sheets” looked more like long towels. The shower in the shared bathroom was broken, with its curtain held on by zip ties. There was no sign of breakfast, though by then that was the least of my worries. Just don't call this a B&B. When I came into the room, there was a strong, nauseating smell. After searching around, I found a slice of gorgonzola rotting in the switched-off mini-fridge at the foot of the bed. Even after I reported the embarrassing Gorgonzola issue, the owner charged me €100 a night. Maybe I was lucky not to be charged extra for the cheese. I'm now staying at the Grand Hotel Fleming, a 4-star hotel that costs significantly less.

It felt like home: the apartment was quiet, well heated, clean, and tidy, in a quiet building. Our room had three comfortable single beds and a balcony, and the mattress was very comfortable. Towels, water, coffee, and Netflix were provided. The owners were kind and very helpful. The bathroom is shared, though we didn't have any other guests while we were there. Weekend From 10 ⭐️

I’d paid €190 for two nights and called that evening to check in. The man told me there were no rooms, even though I’d booked and paid in full. He said he couldn’t manage all 500 reservations. He refunded me straight away, but that still left me stranded. I never expected an experience this awful, even after reading the other reviews.

They called it a “b&b,” but after paying 85 euros I found out I’d be sharing the place with six strangers and using one bathroom with them. That wasn’t made clear beforehand. Breakfast was listed as included, but there wasn’t any. Please call the place what it is! 🙏
