Feliz In Roma

We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it. The one-bedroom apartment had a beautiful old-world look, modern amenities, and a great spot for walking, less than 10 minutes from the Colosseum and close to the nearest Metro stop. The staff were friendly and quick to respond. Coffee and breakfast pastries were provided, along with a coffee maker, coffee, and WiFi. The shower was tiny, and there weren't many drawers or shelves, so we mostly lived out of our suitcases, though there was decent hanging space. Check-in was self-service, using the email or WhatsApp instructions to get in.

Feliz In Roma was impeccably clean, comfortable, and just as described. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the location worked perfectly for walking to Rome's iconic sights, including the Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and many historic churches and landmarks. Federico was a terrific host, friendly, responsive, and so helpful throughout. His tip to try Luzzi Trattoria was spot on, and the pizza was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend Feliz In Roma as a home base for exploring Rome. 🇮🇹🏛️🍕

The lack of outlets was a nuisance too, with only a few in the room and none near the bedside table, so charging a phone while using it was awkward. At checkout, they also insisted on cash for extra taxes and wouldn't take a card, which felt unprofessional. The so-called breakfast was just a few dry, stale pieces of bread, with no coffee, tea, or other hot drinks. The bed advertised as king size was actually two small single mattresses pushed together. They slipped apart during the night, and the gap made sleeping uncomfortable. Worst of all, the room had a terrible smell as soon as we opened the door. It made the whole stay unpleasant and gave the impression that the room hadn't been aired or cleaned properly for a long time. The place seemed badly managed, and this was a very disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

We were four people in the Independence apartment, which felt cosy and was clean. The kitchen had most of what we'd need, though a toaster would've been nice. It's easy to spot the Colosseum as soon as you step outside, and the Colosseum metro station is nearby. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores close by too. Trevi Fountain and most other attractions are about a 40-minute walk away. The hosts were very helpful over WhatsApp, even though we never met them in person. We enjoyed our stay.
