Fenix Hotel

The service was fine, and the area wasn’t too noisy. Buses and the metro are easy to reach from here. It’s a very good four-star hotel, but it doesn’t offer the services I’d expect for a fifth star.

We were there for events at luiss, which is just a few minutes away, and the location worked well, with direct buses to termini. The staff were really nice, spoke English, and were very helpful. Our room was big and had a balcony, though it faced the road and got a bit noisy. The bathroom wasn’t completely new or spotless, but it was acceptable. Breakfast didn’t have many options. Bottled water in the mini freezer wasn’t free, though sometimes the bar staff would give us water. Good for travellers attending events at luiss.

It was peaceful to come back here at night after being among the busy tourist areas. The Metro station is only a short walk away, and it takes just minutes to reach the crowds. Our rooms were cleaned every day, and the staff were very helpful and exceptional at accommodating our needs. Breakfast was good, with more variety than I’ve had at most Italian hotels. We had a delightful stay.

I spent 10 days in Rome, and the staff treated me like family. Madame was wonderful and helped with everything, from food and laundry to taxis and touring. The gentleman running the establishment, what Americans would call busboys, were just as helpful. They brought me breakfast at any time of day and helped with whatever I needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel was amazing.
