The beds were comfortable, and they changed the sheets every day. The rooms themselves were very comfortable too. It’s conveniently located for getting to the main station and the historical monuments. This hotel helped me come away with a good opinion of Rome.
The owner would come in at unpredictable times, but he was friendly. The hostel is close to a subway station and around a 15-minute walk from the central station. The beds were comfortable, and they changed the linen every day.
We stayed here back in 2009, so this review is a bit dated, but we remember the place fondly. The entrance felt a little creepy because the building is old. Inside, the bedroom was surprisingly good, and the staff were friendly. Just bear in mind it’s a hostel rather than a hotel.
Friendly staff, a nice hostel, and a pretty good location. The air conditioning wasn’t working, though.
The location is good, but the place was unhygienic. The bathrooms had no toilet seats or locks, there were no power outlets for each bed, and nobody at reception spoke English.
