The room was clean and neat at check-in, just as advertised, but things went wrong after we left for our Colosseum tour that afternoon. When we got back, the portable AC unit had been removed. The room's central air didn't work and only blew hot air, and neither staff nor management resolved it. Loud noises came from the walls all night, so we couldn't get a good night's sleep. I stayed in Suite 107 and had the worst overnight experience of my life. I'll never stay at Gravina Rooms again or recommend it to anyone.

It was a quiet, clean, relaxing place, about a 10-minute walk from the Vatican, with plenty of restaurants near the Rooms. The breakfast wasn't to my taste, and the Wi-Fi was poor.

The reception was really nice, and the rooms were amazing.

We only spent two days here, but it was a lovely stay for me and my girlfriend. Breakfast had both sweet and savory choices, and the woman serving it was really friendly and helpful. The staff were courteous too. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful, new bathroom. St. Peter's and Ottaviano metro are both about a five-minute walk away. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay in the heart of Rome.

The breakfast room had such a distinctive feel, almost like eating in a hanging garden, and the staff were happy to help with tourist information. We stayed for the weekend and found the room immaculately clean. It's a handy base too: the A line and plenty of buses are close by, and St. Peter's, Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso and the city's main squares are all just a couple of minutes away on foot. We'd happily come back.
