Guest House Biondi

Giulia made this stay especially nice. She got in touch a day before we arrived to make sure we had the details and knew how to find the place, then helped us throughout with city information and transport arrangements. She was very kind and attentive, and we could check in early, which was a big plus. Guesthouse Biondi is in a busy neighborhood, but inside the room we couldn't hear the outside. The room was simple and good for a night's sleep, with air conditioning that made the hot summer weather comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed. The doors were a bit noisy, though, and at night we could hear guests coming and going if they weren't careful. It's great value, and I'd recommend Guesthouse Biondi to anyone visiting the area. The location is good, but the rooms are small and only kind of clean. It's a big apartment of over 200 m2 that's been divided into more than eight private rooms. You can hear conversations and doors being unlocked as if they're happening in your own room. The Wi-Fi reconnects every five minutes and IS NOT SAFE!!!

Such a cute, quirky place, and really clean. The hostess was so patient when I got confused about my passport. I rudely snatched it back from her for reasons that made no sense, and she just laughed it off calmly. She may not remember it, but I do! The location is great, with buses just outside the building, so getting around was easy. We were there in August 2023 and would happily stay again. Highly recommend.

Giulia was flexible and helpful, including with baggage drop and recommendations. The rooms are an OK size and the price is great. There's a community fridge, plus some cutlery and dinnerware. Getting around is easy too, with a 10-15 minute walk from Termini and eight minutes to the red Metro line. The breakfast part of this B&"b" isn't much now: there's no longer a voucher for a local cafe, just freeze dried Nescafe that I actually found decent, and plastic wrapped pastries I passed on. If your room faces Via Merulana, don't expect to keep the windows open much, it's too loud for sleeping. I'd go again!
