Guest house Roma

A week before we were supposed to arrive, Booking.com twice told us the hotel had refused my credit card, without giving a reason. I contacted Booking.com after the first message and it was sorted out, but half an hour later the same thing happened, so I corrected it again through them. There was nothing wrong with the card. When I phoned the hotel, I got nowhere because they wouldn't speak English. I should have read the other reviews sooner. We found somewhere else to stay rather than risk going through what other guests had described. I don't trust this hotel. Don't go there!

Don't book this hotel. I wish I'd checked the earlier review. They charged us even though we never used the room, and refused to communicate with us.

I had booked and paid a deposit through Hostelworld six weeks ahead, and received a confirmation. Then, about a week before I was due to arrive, the place emailed me directly to say they had no room. Finding somewhere else at such short notice is extremely difficult. Since they contacted me outside Hostelworld, getting my deposit back will be a hassle, and the booking still shows as confirmed in my account. Terrible. Don't book here.

Run away! We booked one night in Rome through Booking.com, but our arrival was at midnight and check-in closed at 10pm. They wouldn't let us in over the two-hour difference, or change the travel date even if we paid a little extra. A Booking.com agent even tried to negotiate for us and said they were completely incomprehensible. They were very unpleasant. I strongly advise against this place. It was a huge scam.
