The 24/7 staff were really polite and helpful, and even helped us with our luggage. There is an elevator, but you still have to climb one flight of stairs to reach the main floor. Our street-facing room was quiet, and we slept like angels. It had useful amenities: a bidet, bathroom essentials, complimentary water and coffee, a hairdryer, a flat iron, and a safe. We stayed at Sonder Piazza di Spagna for four days, and it worked out very well for a short trip. Shops, sights, and the station are all nearby. The only small issue was the bathroom: the shower leaked a little through small holes at the sides. It still worked fine, though it could use some updating. I highly recommend the hotel for its comfort, location, and service.
We really enjoyed breakfast, with lots of choices and tasty coffee. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, and the terrace had lovely views over Rome's rooftops. The elevators are only useful for luggage, but we didn't mind taking the stairs for a daily workout. We had a wonderful time, highly recommend staying here, and will visit again. Thank you 🙏
The terrace on the top floor is open all the time, so you can go up for breakfast, make coffee, refill water from the filtered taps, or relax in the sun with a drink or a book. Breakfast costs 15 Euro per person and has a great spread. The woman working there was wonderful and made scrambled eggs and bacon. The desk staff were great too. They helped with my luggage when I arrived, were helpful throughout the stay, and replied very quickly to my emails. I booked a queen room and was very pleased with its size and design. It was clean, with plenty of space, a large closet, a nice bathroom, a workstation, and big airy windows. The location felt safe and was perfect, just a short walk from nearly everything I wanted to see or do. From FCO airport, take the direct train to Termini, about 35 minutes, then the metro for two stops. There’s a convenience store across the street and more nearby, lots of restaurants and places to get a drink, and a main shopping street close by. I really enjoyed my time here and would absolutely stay again. After this experience, I'll book Sonder hotels in other cities too.
The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean with a comfy bed. In the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off for over an hour, but they fixed it as promised. Our window was coming loose, and my husband had to climb up and secure it as best he could.
