Hotel La Place

La Place Hotel is excellent for both location and staff. Breakfast is at the very stylish Vitti Café, where the employees are wonderful, especially the cashier and Mr Cipriano, who are friendly and dedicated. Unfortunately, Ms Daniela is extremely rude and ill-mannered, and she tarnishes the establishment’s reputation. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback into account.

I felt at home at La Place Rome Hotel. The place had an elegant but welcoming atmosphere, and the details all seemed thoughtfully taken care of. Martina deserves a special mention: she was kind, professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Her genuine smile and excellent service made the stay memorable and added a personal touch.

A lovely little boutique hotel that suited us well. The room was on the small side, like many in Rome, but had everything we needed, including unique room automation and some upscale touches. Its city center spot puts you right in the action, while the room itself was still quite quiet. We got lucky and booked the only room with a balcony. It looked over the square and the activity below, and we loved having it. We’ll be back!

The city location is great, and the café downstairs served an excellent breakfast with our stay. Still, for what we paid, I’d have preferred somewhere quieter and more convenient. The church bell across the street rang for ages, often enough that the sound quickly lost its charm. If you have mobility issues, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel: getting in depends on a tiny, slow elevator, and the poor signage made it hard to find. There were things to like, but I wouldn’t stay again.
