Hotel La Ville Rome

The hotel is quite far from the city center. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, the rooms are clean, tidy, and well organized, and breakfast is lovely. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, one of the best things about the place. The biggest problem is the air conditioning: you can’t control or set the temperature in your room. That can be really disappointing if you prefer a cool room.

We went to Rome for our wedding, and the hotel had a wonderful surprise ready for us afterward even though they didn’t know about the wedding. The staff were amazing and so was the food. The rooms were clean and beautiful, and the hotel’s location was good. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever visited, and my wife and I definitely plan to return. We have wonderful memories from our stay.

Anna, the proprietor, and her staff were so friendly and helpful. This luxurious property was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with every little detail thought of. It’s a 20-minute easy, direct walk to most sights and the centre, though it isn’t in the centre itself. The metro is a 10-minute walk away. We were a family of four on this trip, had a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend it. We’ll definitely return. Wishing them every success.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, with a shower and bidet, and toiletries were provided, though the shower gel was slow to get replenished. Sound carries straight through the rooms. I could hear next door flushing and talking, as well as people walking and talking outside our door. At least the hotel is in a quiet area. Breakfast was the same each day, with no à la carte menu. The sausages and bacon weren’t great quality, though the pastries were decently fresh. One morning at 10.30, we asked for fried eggs and were told the kitchen was closed, despite weekend breakfast supposedly running until 11. I wasn’t impressed. It was far from the centre, though we managed. Looking back, tourists might be better off booking somewhere closer. I wouldn’t recommend it. If the food had been good, I might have, but it wasn’t.
