Hotel Magic

I’d booked the wrong dates by accident, and the staff made a stressful situation easy to sort out. They arranged a free cancellation and walked me through the process without any trouble. Their understanding, professionalism, and customer service really impressed me. It’s rare to find people so helpful and accommodating. Thanks for the help. I’d gladly stay here in the future and recommend the hotel.

The room was dirty when we arrived, including the bed and bathroom, and looked nothing like the misleading listing photos. We were also charged an extra $150 because two of us were staying in a “single room.” The receptionist was disrespectful. Getting into Hotel Magic was a mess from the start. We waited over an hour outside and only got in when someone happened to leave. There was no front desk inside. After more waiting, knocking, and ringing the bell, someone finally let us in. It was an extremely frustrating stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

It felt old and authentic, and I liked the stairs and tiny elevator. The room was clean, comfortable, and larger than the one I’d expected after arriving early. There may have been a mix-up in the email because I don’t speak Italian, but they gave me a room right away. The employees were welcoming. The mattress was firmer than I prefer, and breakfast wasn’t included, though I didn’t mind that. I enjoyed my stay.

My husband and I stayed for four days. The ladies were good, and one spoke English. The office manager was a pleasant, professional gentleman who gave us proper directions. The lift was small, but that was fine for us. The main downside was noise from other rooms late at night. I can recommend it to people looking for cheaper prices. The train and bus stations are nearby. We should enjoy the beauty of this ancient place instead of getting frustrated about little discomforts. 🙂
