Hotel Mancino 12

The front desk woman was extremely helpful during our visit, though I wish I could remember her name. We found the rooms very clean and a decent size for a big city hotel. Everything except the Vatican was within easy walking distance, so the location worked out great for us. I’d definitely stay again.

The rooms are gorgeous, bright, and very clean. I wish we’d had longer in Rome, but I’ll be back! 12/10 The hospitality here is exceptional, and they really care about their visitors. The gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name is Michael, was so kind and accommodating. He helped us with tourism ideas and places to eat.

The hotel is quaint and well located, though it sits down a back lane. Rooms are small, the bathroom is a good size, and the windows have no view. The bed was very hard, making the first few nights difficult to sleep, and the pillows are firm. There’s no coffee in the room, no irons allowed in Rome, and you get just one bottle of water for your stay. They add a 15 euro tip per day to the bill without asking. All in all, it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend a hotel that adds a tip without explaining it clearly.

Housekeeping and staff were amazing, and the hotel has a perfect location for a Rome vacation. My partner and I found the air conditioning unreliable, the room very small, and the pillows just average. If a central location matters most and you’re willing to compromise on the other things, this could be the place for you.
