We stayed four days. Termini Station is less than a ten-minute walk away, which made getting around Rome and travelling to or from the airport very convenient. Reception staff were lovely and welcoming, spoke English, and were available 24/7. Breakfast had a good Italian selection: croissants, ham and cheese sandwiches, boiled egg, fruit, juice, coffee, and more. We could leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was useful. The room was decent and had what we needed, including working air conditioning, a TV we didn’t use, kettle, hair dryer, towels, and toiletries. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores on the same street. Sleeping comfortably was difficult because there’s no soundproofing, so we could hear everything from the hallway and nearby rooms. The bathroom was quite small, though that seems common in reviews of hotels in the area. We’d asked for a double bed but got two single beds pushed together, and they kept sliding apart. The building is old, and the room wasn’t very large or luxurious. There is a lift, but it’s an old style that fits only two people and needs to be opened and closed by hand. It worked fine, though. At checkout, you need to pay a city tax of €5 per person per day in cash. It isn’t included in the booking fee, and cards aren’t accepted for it, so keep some cash handy.

The breakfast was nice, service was very good, and everything was clean. It’s also really close and convenient to Termini, whether you’re arriving by train or from FCO.

Patricia and Lilly spoke adequate English. Our room was clean, with a strong shower and properly hot water. The beds were comfortable with brand-new, sturdy mattresses, and the blankets were warm and clean. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and the train station is very close. The price for seven days was good. Be ready to pay the tax in cash, in euros, at check-in: €5 per person per day. They won’t take a credit card for it, and we had to pay €70. We’d stay here again on another trip to Rome.

The staff were friendly, and the location was ideal. It’s two blocks from the train station, with an easy trip to and from the airport. The “must see” historic spots are an easy 20-minute walk away.
